Nottingham has been our home since our inception in 2001, and we’ve seen it grow into the vibrant and talented hub that it is today. The Creative Class is a relatively new initiative to celebrate the “flair and entrepreneurial talent in Nottingham” - supported by the Creative Quarter, Nottingham City Council and Nottingham Means Business, and sponsored by PwC.
Each year, businesses are nominated from all over Nottinghamshire, but only 10 of the most dynamic and exciting can become new members. To be a part of the Creative Class each business needs to demonstrate that they are high performing, innovative, ambitious for growth and ambassadors for the city. We’re delighted to have been selected, alongside some fantastic fellow Nottingham based businesses.
The Creative Class members were announced on Thursday 7th July at Nottingham Contemporary. The evening was hugely inspiring, and it was fantastic to hear from representatives from each of the businesses.

Our very own Greg Bloor put forward some encouraging words about Distinction’s growth in Nottingham and outlined how our Nottingham team plans to grow to 30 by the end of this year.
Greg praised the talent that comes out of the Nottingham based universities and how the city is buzzing with creativity. When put on the spot and asked what advice he’d give to budding entrepreneurs he said the most important thing is to “surround yourself with good people and of course, be passionate about what you are doing”.
We’re very excited to be the latest additions to the Creative Class and look forward to continuing working closely with Nottingham Means Business and the Creative Quarter.
