The Nottingham Post Business Awards 2017

Wednesday 24th May marked the culmination of the 2017 Nottingham Post Business Awards. It was a spectacular ceremony, with more than 400 guests, hosted by the comedian and broadcaster Mark Dolan. Magician and illusionist, Jamie Raven, amazed the whole audience and made everyone believe in magic.

The awards ceremony and dinner were held at the East Midlands Conference Centre, a modern venue set in acres of the University of Nottingham’s landscaped parkland. Attended by hundreds of Nottinghamshire's business elite, the night started with a drinks reception, before everyone headed to the banqueting suite where the formal part of ceremony was held. The event gave us a great opportunity to meet other local businesses and celebrate our success.

For three decades, Nottingham Post has been highlighting and celebrating the best businesses across Nottinghamshire, turning these awards into a testament to our region's thriving business sector. All 13 award categories are designed to recognise all the high-achieving and innovative companies that have not only demonstrated passion and love for what they do, but have also made a positive contribution to the local community.

We were hugely excited to be shortlisted in the Creative Business of the Year category in some of the most prestigious awards of our hometown. With over 10 businesses having entered this category, we were shortlisted in the top three. Even though we didn't win the first prize, we are thrilled to have been part of such an event and to be named as finalists.

The Creative Industries Business of the Year category recognises those that have made major achievements in the field, looking at something truly creative that the finalists have developed, as well as their financial achievement and future business prospects. As a growing agency that specialises in digital transformation, strategy, design and marketing, we're extremely proud to be part of the top three creative businesses in Nottinghamshire. This was one of the most competitive categories in the awards, as Nottingham has turned into a thriving community of creative people and businesses during recent years.

We've won similar awards in the past and were recognised as part of the Nottingham's Creative Class in 2016, which likewise celebrates the talents and work of businesses in the city. We pride ourselves on offering a truly full suite of services to our clients, and always aim to create outcomes, not outputs. Our proven record for success is just one of the reasons that we have been fortunate enough to be shortlisted for this award.

Congratulations to all of the finalists and winners!
