Fixed Fee. 3 Weeks. No commitment.

Digital Maturity Assessment

A structured, scored assessment of your people, processes, platforms and data - so you know exactly where you stand and what to fix first.

You know things aren't quite right.

Decisions take too long, systems don't talk to each other, and half the team has quietly built shadow spreadsheets because they don't trust the CRM.

But is it a bit rough around the edges or genuinely holding the business back?

Digital maturity has almost nothing to do with software. It's about how well your strategy, systems, data and people work together - especially when something unexpected happens. Without a clear picture of that, investment decisions get kicked down the road, patchy fixes pile up, and the gap between where you are and where you need to be quietly widens.

Our Digital Maturity Assessment gives you that clear picture - scored, benchmarked and prioritised - in three weeks.

Scoring model

Five levels of maturity

We don't deal in vague opinions. Every dimension is scored against a five-level framework, with clear criteria at each stage.

Level 1
Ad hoc
Reactive, fragmented, dependent on individuals.
Level 2
Developing
Some processes exist but inconsistently applied.
Level 3
Defined
Documented, repeatable, but not yet optimised.
Level 4
Managed
Measured, controlled, continuously improving.
Level 5
Optimised
Predictive, automated, industry-leading.

Seven dimensions

What we assess

We assess across seven dimensions - anchored by the four that matter most: people, process, platforms and data.

Each is scored 1-5 against a defined maturity model.

People & capability - Do your teams have the skills to use your digital tools properly? Is there resistance, or enthusiasm? When you roll something out, does it stick - or does everyone quietly revert to email and spreadsheets within a month?
Process & ways of working - Are your workflows designed around your technology, or fighting against it? How much time gets lost to manual tasks that should have been automated years ago?
Platforms & technology - Are your systems integrated, or siloed? Is your core stack stable and supported, or held together with workarounds and prayer?
Data & insight - Is it accurate? Accessible? Timely? Do different teams share a common version of the truth, or does everyone have their own spreadsheet with slightly different numbers?
Strategy & leadership - Is there a documented digital strategy connected to commercial goals, or is it gathering dust in a SharePoint folder? Does leadership have visibility into what's happening now - or last month's numbers reformatted into a deck?
Customer experience - Are enquiries responded to quickly? Do self-serve portals actually work? Do communications feel joined-up or fragmented? In B2B services, where relationships are everything, this is where trust gets built or eroded.
Governance & security - Who owns what? When a new cyber threat appears, can you respond in minutes or hours - not weeks or months? Are roles clear and processes documented?

Deliverables

What's included

Three weeks, fixed fee, no ambiguity. Here's what you walk away with.

01
Scored maturity report
Each of the seven dimensions scored 1-5, with evidence and commentary explaining the rating. Across people, process, platforms and data. No hand-waving.
02
Benchmarking context
How your scores compare to what we typically see in your sector and at your stage - so you know whether 'fine' is actually fine, or just familiar.
03
Prioritisation matrix
A clear impact-vs-effort map showing where to focus first, second, and not at all. Because doing everything at once is doing nothing well.
04
Actionable roadmap
A phased plan with recommended initiatives, estimated investment ranges, and suggested timelines. Small, focused bets - not a big bang. Ready for board presentation.
05
Stakeholder workshop
A 90-minute session to walk through findings, pressure-test priorities, and align your leadership team on next steps.
06
Executive summary
A concise, jargon-free overview designed specifically for senior leadership and board-level conversations. The kind of document that actually gets read.

Why bother?

Maybe you already know what needs fixing. But knowing something's a bit rubbish and having a scored, benchmarked, board-ready case for change are two very different things.

Maturity isn't about owning technology - it's about getting value from it. A firm with high maturity can answer a question that afternoon, not in four weeks. Their systems talk to each other, their teams know how to find answers without commissioning a six-week report, and leadership has visibility into what's happening now - not last month's numbers reformatted into a deck. That speed compounds over time, and so does the opposite.

On the flip side, immature digital environments are expensive to maintain. Manual workarounds consume time, security gaps widen, and you end up spending most of your IT budget keeping things running - and almost nothing on moving forward.

And because the assessment is fixed fee, you know exactly what it costs before you commit. No scope creep, no nasty surprises, no six-month discovery phase that somehow costs more than the build.

The Process

How it works

Minimal disruption to your team. Maximum clarity on where you stand.

Week 1
Discovery & data gathering
We review your existing systems, workflows, data practices and team capabilities. Short interviews with 4-6 key stakeholders across the business. Light-touch and non-disruptive - we know you've got a day job.
Week 2
Assessment & scoring
Our team scores each dimension against the maturity framework, cross-references with sector benchmarks, and builds the prioritisation matrix. This is where the real thinking happens.
Week 3
Report & workshop
You receive the full maturity report and we run a 90-minute workshop with your leadership team to walk through findings, challenge assumptions, and agree next steps.
